Accelerating Blue Growth in the Black Sea

Client:

The Facility for Blue Growth in the Black Sea provides guidance and support to governments, private investors, trade and industrial associations, research institutions and universities and to the general public regarding opportunities to engage in Blue Economy maritime activities in the Black Sea region.

Actions:

• Outreach and promotion of Facility missions.

That was cool:

During the European Maritime Day 2018, the Facility for Blue Growth in the Black Sea organised a ministerial meeting in presence of seven Black Sea region countries and Member states, as well as the European Commissionner for Environment and Maritime Affairs Karmenu Vella. This encounter provided the first steps towards a shared maritime agenda for this maritime basin and was widely acknowledged as a milestone for Blue growth in the Black Sea region.
